It’s Friday night. The sounds of crowds will fill the air, as communities gather to cheer on their favorite team. The actions, attitudes, and sometimes poor examples in professional sports have worn on me. It is refreshing to watch kids play for the love of the game.
I have to be honest in the past ten years my passion to follow extremely well paid professionals in sports has waned. I used to love watching games on T.V., but now I find watching a local high school game much more enjoyable. The price is much easier on my walet, and the players are much easier to follow. If you haven’t been to your kids games, your nephew or nieces events, or the neighbor’s kids games lately, I’d recommend it. It gives a lot of pleasure, and helps you be a part of your hometown community.
